💥 Gibside Stables is approximately a 20-minute walk from the reception building and includes mixed terrain and a steep-incline, so we’d recommend arriving onsite at least 30 minutes before the workshop begins and wearing sturdy footwear.

Come along and spend a lovely few hours getting into the Christmas spirit, creating your very own traditional Christmas wreath using beautiful seasonal foliage and festive decorations.

We’ll start by mossing your wreath ring before binding a selection of festive, seasonal foliage onto the mossed frame. Then comes the fun part... decorating your wreath! You’ll have three different styles to choose from, so you can create something that suits your own taste and your home.

🎄 Traditional – A classic Christmas palette of reds and greens, including artificial red berries, dried fruit, pinecones and other festive touches.

🍋 Country Classic – A more pared-back, natural style with a lovely country feel, featuring lemons, feathers, pinecones and seasonal elements.

❄️ Winter White – A beautiful frosty palette with artificial white berries, dried fruit and other elements for a softer winter look.

And to finish things off, we have a large selection of pre-made bows for you to choose from. With so many different styles and colours, you're bound to find something you like!

Once your wreath is complete, we'll finish it with a backing to help protect both your wreath and your door, so it's ready to hang and enjoy throughout the festive season.

This is a lovely, relaxed workshop where you can take your time, get creative and enjoy a little Christmas cheer. Whether you're making a wreath for your own front door or creating something special as a gift, I'd love to welcome you along.

Our Christmas Wreath Workshop is back at The Duke of Wellington, and it's the perfect excuse to get creative, enjoy a festive drink and leave the Christmas crafting at home for once!

We'll provide your pre-mossed wreath base, plenty of fresh seasonal foliage and a gorgeous selection of festive decorations for you to choose from.

Whether you love a classic Christmas look with traditional reds and greens, prefer something a little more rustic and natural, or fancy a frosty winter white design, there's plenty to inspire you.

We'll guide you through the process, share plenty of tips and tricks and help you create a wreath that's completely your own.

And, of course, what's a festive workshop at The Duke of Wellington without a little Christmas cheer? Your ticket includes a complimentary drink to enjoy while you create.

So, come along, grab a drink, get creative and leave with a beautiful handmade wreath ready to hang on your door.

Come along to beautiful Crook Hall Gardens and create your very own natural Christmas wreath, using a beautiful vine base, moss and a lovely selection of fresh, seasonal foliage.

This is a slightly more pared-back style of wreath, perfect if you love a natural, understated look.

We’ll start by adding moss to your vine base before binding on a good choice of fresh, festive foliage. You can choose how much of the natural vine you’d like to leave exposed for a more relaxed, contemporary feel, or you can take your foliage all the way around for a fuller look. The choice is yours!

Then comes the fun part... decorating your wreath.

You’ll have a lovely selection of natural decorations to use from fresh berries, dried fruits, pinecones and other seasonal touches. And, of course, we’ll have a choice of ribbons to finish it off.

This is a beautiful natural wreath and a lovely opportunity to spend a few hours getting creative with fresh foliage and natural materials, while making something special to take home and enjoy throughout the Christmas season.

Whether you're drawn to traditional reds and greens, prefer a more rustic country feel or love a frosty winter white look, you'll have plenty of decorations to choose from and lots of inspiration along the way.

I'll guide you through the process, sharing my professional floristry tips and tricks as we go, so you can enjoy making your wreath without worrying about what goes where!

And, of course, your ticket includes a complimentary drink from The Duke of Wellington — because a little festive refreshment always makes crafting more enjoyable! 🍷

Looking for an alternative to a traditional Christmas wreath? Why not come along and create a beautiful festive swag instead!

This is a lovely, slightly different way to decorate your front door, gate or even a garden shed or outhouse. A little bit old-fashioned, a little bit rustic and full of seasonal charm.

We'll start by binding together a variety of fresh, seasonal foliage branches to create the base of your swag. Think of it as a traditional broom shape, without the handle, made with beautiful festive greenery.

Then comes the fun part... decorating!

You'll have a choice of two lovely colour schemes, so you can create something to suit your own style:

🎄 Traditional Red – A warm combination with festive decorative elements such as artificial berries, pinecones, dried fruits and other seasonal touches.

❄️ Winter White – A softer, frosty palette with beautiful winter-inspired decorations, creating a lovely elegant finish.

Once you've attached your decorations, we'll bring everything together with a beautiful bow of your choice to finish off your swag.

This is a shorter workshop, perfect if you'd like to enjoy some Christmas creativity without committing to a full mossed wreath. A lovely opportunity to spend a little time working with seasonal foliage, making something beautiful and taking a bit of festive cheer home with you.

Come along to beautiful Crook Hall Gardens and create your very own hand-tied bouquet, using fresh flowers in rich, seasonal colours.

This is a lovely workshop for anyone who enjoys working with flowers and would like to learn how to create a beautiful bouquet to keep or give as a special Christmas gift.

We'll start by creating our bouquets using the spiral technique, learning how to bring the flowers together to create a lovely, natural shape. We'll be working with fresh flowers in rich, seasonal colours, perfect for adding a little festive warmth to your home.

Once your bouquet is finished, we'll gift wrap it beautifully and present it in an aqua bubble, helping to keep your flowers fresh and ready to enjoy.

Whether you're making a fabulous Christmas present for someone special or simply fancy treating yourself, the choice is yours!

A First Look at Our New Studio - Something a little bit special this Christmas!

Come along and join me for one of our very first workshops in The Northern Flower Garden's brand-new Whitburn studio, as we give you a little sneak peek before the studio officially opens in Spring 2027. 🌿

We're keeping this workshop small, relaxed and personal, with just 6–8 people, so there'll be plenty of space to get creative and lots of time for me to help you along the way.

We'll start by mossing your wreath ring before binding a beautiful selection of fresh, festive foliage onto the frame. I'll show you how to build your wreath from the beginning, creating a lovely full base ready for all the fun stuff... decorating your wreath!

You'll have a gorgeous selection of festive decorations to choose from, with plenty of different colours, textures and styles to help you create something that suits your own taste and your home.

And, of course, no Christmas wreath is complete without a beautiful bow! You'll have a lovely selection of pre-made bows to choose from, with lots of different colours and styles to finish your wreath perfectly.

Once your wreath is complete, we'll add a backing to help protect both your wreath and your door, so it's ready to hang and enjoy throughout the festive season.

As this is a workshop in our own studio, everything will be right here on hand for you to use, making the whole experience relaxed, easy and enjoyable. We'll also provide refreshments for you to enjoy while you create. ☕🍰

Accessibility: There are two steps to enter the studio. Once inside, the workshop space is step free with accessible toilet facilities.
