Christmas Bouquet Workshop

Learn the art of bouquet making just in time for Christmas!
In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, we’ll guide you through the spiral technique to create a stunning arrangement of festive flowers and foliage.
You’ll then finish your design with stylish gift wrapping and an aqua bubble, so it’s perfectly presented and ready to gift to your nearest and dearest (or, let’s be honest, to keep for yourself!).
A gorgeous handmade bouquet and a new skill – the perfect Christmas treat or gift idea.
Our workshops at The Northern Flower Garden are always fun and supportive where I demonstrate professional floristry techniques, share the tips and tricks and we’ll keep the creativity flowing with crafted drinks and homemade bakes from the National Trust team at Crook Hall Gardens.
Duration: up to 2 hours
Venue Details: Car parking charges apply at Crook Hall Gardens for non-National Trust members. On arrival, please show proof of your workshop booking at the welcome buildings to gain free admission and can our National Trust members please also have your membership card scanned as usual.

Biosecurity: To help protect and conserve Crook Hall’s Gardens, all plant material that enters and leaves the site is bagged and sealed. Therefore we will ask you to also seal your designs in the bags we will provide as you leave.

Christmas Table Flowers in Red and Gold

💥 Gibside Stables is approximately a 20-minute walk from the reception building and includes mixed terrain and a steep-incline, so we’d recommend arriving onsite at least 30 minutes before the workshop begins and wearing sturdy footwear.
Add a touch of luxury to your Christmas table with this festive flower arranging workshop in the beautiful setting of Gibside.
Using the sustainable chicken wire and water technique, you’ll create a long, low design filled with seasonal foliage, fresh flowers, and decorative touches.
With rich red roses and sparkling gold accessories, your arrangement will bring warmth, elegance, and a little Christmas magic to the heart of your home.

In the historic surroundings of Gibside, you’ll arrange fresh festive flowers and foliage in a long, low container using our sustainable chicken wire and water method.
